Keeping It Simple

  |   By Amber Richman

Sometimes the sweetest weddings are the small, intimate ones. If you are planning a simple ceremony, with a laid-back party to accompany it, it makes total sense to keep the flowers simple too.  Many brides who are planning on uncomplicated weddings seem to consider roses as the best bang for your buck, but another excellent option is orchids. Keeping It Simple

Orchids are one of the hardiest cut-flowers you can buy. As such, they can afford you more flexibility on the day of your wedding. For example, if you would rather pick-up your flowers earlier in the day as opposed to having them delivered, orchids are a perfect option as you don't have to be nearly as concerned about the blooms wilting or bruising. Nonetheless, you should always try to keep them cool—sitting in a hot car will cause problems for any cut flower.

If you are planning a small wedding (or even a huge one), orchids are the perfect way to add tasteful simplicity into your day.
