Keep on Giving

  |   By Laura K

I often find that my clients struggle with what to give as a gift to their guests. This is a long-standing wedding tradition, and although it has changed over the years it doesn’t seem to be going anywhere. Most people I know, at some point or another, have received something at a wedding that they had no idea what to do with and it usually ends up in the garbage or collecting dust in a box somewhere.

Keep on Giving

To avoid this I usually suggest to give chocolates, cookies or a donation to a charity. You can’t go wrong with food and giving to charity makes everyone feel good.

If you decide to go the charity route there are a few ways to let your guests know.

1. Write it on the back of their place card.

2. Write it on the program.

3. Write it on the menu.

4. Attach a gift tag to a cookie or piece of fruit with the charity information.
