I owe this awesome stationery idea to my friends: Cathy & Jon and Nicole & Victor–both tying the knot pretty soon. Rather than spending countless hours stuffing envelopes (and spending the extra cents on postage stamp) both Cathy and Nicole took a creative route and created their own digital save-the-dates. Such a simple technique, but truly personalized.

What they did was take pictures of themselves and pretty much in big, bold letters told me what day to save. Easy as that. Now, if you don't think you're a whiz at Photoshop, I would definitely encourage hiring a designer such as the talented crew at Juiceboxcreation's Shop who created this pretty and engaging save-the-date.
