Introducing our Fall & Winter 2020 Cover!

Creating a magazine virtually is not an easy feat, but that is exactly what our team did seamlessly for our Fall & Winter issue. Shooting a cover and fashion story was also something that looked and felt very different this issue. On a very small, socially-distanced set our creative crew produced some incredible work that we are so SO proud to finally share our latest cover.

As we were unable to have a hair and makeup artist working on our set at the time of the shoot, our beautiful cover star Aluad was a multitasking model doing her own hair and makeup. The day prior to the shoot she had a Zoom session with Jane McKay, senior national artist with MAC Cosmetics who had curated a custom package Aluad to play with to create her beauty looks. Add a killer dress from &ForLove (winner of Weddingebells 2020 Wedding Awards in the category of Canadian Bridal Designer), a beautiful engagement ring from Erin Tracy and an incredible bouquet from Wild North flowers in an unexpected palette of Tiffany Blue, red and coral, and here we are with this incredible cover
