Wedding planning isn’t simply arranging to celebrate exclusively on your big day. The small moments and celebrations leading up to your wedding day are just as important and special in the lead up to your wedding. Moments like your bachelorette party are an important part of your wedding celebrations and you should enjoy this lead up to your big day with the bridal party you have chosen to be with you when you say ‘I Do.’ Although gatherings and celebrations are difficult during the COVID-19 pandemic there are still socially distanced options that you can choose to celebrate with your bridesmaids.

Before you plan your celebration, ensure to check the guidelines in your province or community as these guidelines are often changing day-to-day and may affect the number of people you can safely gather with.

Get Online
The simplest way to ensure you are following physical distancing guidelines is to turn your party into an online bash. There are great ways to involve your bridesmaids and have fun online. If you’re hoping to make things a little more intimate you can include online games such as trivia about the bride. You can also arrange to take a class together online like a live stream dance class or an online wine and paint night. You can deliver any supplies for your chosen party, from wine and paint brushes to snacks and bachelorette decor, to your guests homes to really make it feel like you’re all celebrating in person.

Sidewalk Party
If you’re hoping to see your friends in person you may choose to host a sidewalk party! Pull up lawn chairs and bring your own drinks for an outdoor and socially distanced gathering at your home. You could also take the party to your backyard and hold an outdoor movie night or barbeque.

Outdoor Celebration
Invite your bridesmaids to an outdoor party where you can all safely keep your physical distance. Enjoying brunch, a tea party or a picnic from afar is a perfect way to cheers to your upcoming nuptials in person without breaking from social distancing etiquette.

Another way to take your bachelorette party outdoors is to take a small trip. Sharing a beach day with your bridal party is another great outdoor experience to celebrate together safely. If the beach isn’t for you, you could also plan a camping trip. This bonding time together is a perfect celebration where you can safely keep your distance and enjoy your time together.

While it can be more challenging to plan a safe way to enjoy your bachelorette with your bridal party, ensuring you’re all keeping safe will allow you to toast with your loved ones without worry. Your extra special bachelorette party will be one that you’ll always remember.
