Fiesta-Approved Piñata Favours From Montreal

  |   By Jean Grant

Christine Lucas’s company Lula Flora is known for pioneering the piñata favour trend, a skill she was forced to perfect when planning her own destination wedding in Playa del Carmen in 2012. After searching, to no avail, for a vendor to create mini replicas of some donkey piñatas she found on Pinterest, she took matters (quite literally) into her own hands.

Two years later, she started to get requests from brides looking for similar smashable favours, so she refined the design and got to crafting. Now, her piñata talents produce the kind of perfectly pink flamingos, tasty-looking tacos and full bottles of tequila that can instantly transport every shindig to the shores of Sayulita —no blindfold required.
