Does Glee Influence Wedding Song Choices?

  |  By Roseanne Dela Rosa

Thanks to Glee, I think plenty brides-to-be will be adding a few of their most recently sung songs–with the top being "Just the Way You Are" and "Marry You" by Bruno Mars (listen above), to their wedding playlist.

Does Glee Influence Wedding Song Choices?

Already Journey's "Don't Stop Believing", according to Michael Coombs of Prodigy Entertainment who releases an annual top 10 most requested song at weddings, is trending at the number three spot while Taio Cruz's "Dynamite" is leading the group followed by "Don't Stop 'Til You Get Enough" by the king of pop. Although "Don't Stop Believing" has always been considered a classic, it wasn't until Glee re-released the song in season one that the tune became an instant hit all over again. Another oldie that I think will follow suit? In next week's episode, Sam and Quinn are set to sing "I've (Had) The Time of My Life" already quite a popular song, but will again be brought to the forefront, which I find quite ironic seeing as Jennifer Grey (starlet of Dirty Dancing) just won Dancing With the Stars.
