DIY Wedding Project: Rustic Vintage Table Numbers

  |   By Jen O'Brien

When we saw this amazing DIY wedding project by Lorrie Everett on her blog, The Creative Bag Blog, we just knew we had to share it with you. These rustic vintage table numbers will suit a wide variety of celebrations -- from chic antique-inspired fetes to woodsy outdoor weddings -- and they are a simple DIY wedding project that can be created in just a few straightforward steps.

This particular DIY wedding project came about when Lorrie was asked to create rustic vintage table numbers for a bride who wanted to keep her colour palette quite neutral while working a variety of textures into her decor. This bride was particularly interested in using burlap on her table tops so Lorrie says incorporating this material into the rustic vintage table numbers was a natural choice. The bride sourced affordable vintage-looking frames for this DIY wedding project from Ikea. To add variety to the table top decor, frames were purchased in two different shapes and three different sizes.

Below we'll show you how these rustic vintage table numbers came together and how, step-by-step, you too can undertake this DIY wedding project with just a few custom-printed clear stickers, burlap ribbon, some kraft cardstock and a bone folder.
