Feeling creative? Looking to save a few bucks on your wedding invitations? Why not try and design them yourself? I’ve mentioned in previous posts how DIY invitations can definitely save you some money if you find a reasonable paper provider (hello Staples!). However the most appealing aspect of designing your own invitations lies in the endless ways you can personalize them. The colour, theme and wording can all be crafted to your perfect specifications. I had an absolute ball creating my own wedding invitations.

So much so that after launching La Belle Bride, I started posting free invitation templates for our brides to download! Don’t have illustrator or a design program? Never fear, you can typically find a free 30 day download and the web is full of quick user guides to help you makes sense of design programs. And if all else fails, invite over that friend of yours who’s a graphic designer, pop a bottle a wine open, and get creative!
