Last weekend I went to Michaels (michaels.com) to help my cousin look for ideas for her nephew’s upcoming christening. I haven’t been in a while, so I completely forgot how utterly addictive that place can be.

I wanted to buy everything in there, especially their scrapbook items. It made me want to tap into my inner artsy side once again. Of course, I couldn’t leave without checking out their wedding section, which has really been updated lately. You can pretty much do everything from scratch—although some of the things they recommended I would still leave to the experts. Anywho, I saw these awesome glass jars (price varies), which you can use to make your own candy buffet. All you really need is a little ribbon, some glue and your fave candies, and that’s all there is to it!
