Just like the dress, Kate Middleton’s bridal bouquet is a closely guarded secret. Will she choose roses? Peonies? Hydrangeas? Hand-tied? Cascading? At this point it’s anyone’s guess, but we do know that her bouquet will most definitely contain the herb myrtle, a must for all royal brides.
According to a recent article on people.com, ever since Queen Victoria married in 1840, a sprig of myrtle (knows as the “herb of love”) has been added to royal bride’s bouquets. Queen Elizabeth II and Princess Diana both included the bit of the fragrant evergreen plant so you can be sure that Kate will too.
