Day 77: Prince William Gets a Promotion

Royal watchers were already predicting Prince William would wear a military uniform on his wedding day. As a member of the RAF and the Royal Navy, donning the traditional dark blue garb was expected for William---plus, rumour has it Kate finds the uniform attractive. Well, hold on to your hat, Kate, because William's got a new uniform to consider! He has just been appointed Colonel of the Irish Guards (a regiment that was formed by Queen Victoria in 1900), and the official ensemble for this new position is a dashing red jacket and black trousers.
