The wedding day starts early (for some Canadians there is no point in going to bed) with Kate and William’s marriage service itself beginning at 11:00 am (BST). Here’s a rundown of other pivotal events happening on Royal Wedding Day that you won’t want to miss.
10:15am Prince William and Prince Harry arrive from Clarence House at Westminster Abbey.
10:20am to 10:45am Kate’s mum Carole Middleton, her brother James, and members of the Royal family arrive at the Abbey, followed by Prince Charles and The Duchess of Cornwall and Queen Elizabeth II and The Duke of Edinburgh.
10:51am Kate, accompanied by her father Michael Middleton, leaves the Goring Hotel for the Abbey.
10:55am Bridesmaids and pages arrive at Westminster Abbey.
11am The marriage service begins.
12:15pm The carriage procession of the Kate and William, followed by The Queen’s procession leaves Westminster Abbey for Buckingham Palace.
1:15pm The Queen, Kate and William, together with their families, appear on the balcony of Buckingham Palace.
