Cut the Cake?

I’ve been hearing from many that the cake is the first to go—is that true? Eek. I could never cut the cake out completely—I love sweets too much. I’m thinking favours are the easiest to scale back on. When in doubt you could always buy candy in bulk. I definitely wouldn’t cut back on photographers—no way—a picture paints a thousand words and those are memories that you can’t recapture. This is a toughie.
