current obsession: one layer cakes

I don't know about you but I think a one-layered wedding cake can look just as elegant and timeless as a two or three-tier confection, don't you agree? Especially if you're having an intimate and small celebration, there's no need to have all that cake go to waste (although knowing me, I'd probably eat more than a slice). I found this simply irresistible design from The Golden Girlz, whose cakes not only look good but taste good too! Bonus: for those of you that have opted to have a dessert bar or serve cupcakes in lieu of a wedding cake, having a small one layered sweet is a wonderful solution to those who still want to participate in the classic cake-cutting ceremony.
