Crate & Barrel Square One Opens!

At 10:00 am this morning the doors to Canada's third Crate & Barrel store opened, this one is a freestanding location at Mississauga's Square One shopping centre. Last night I attended a private media party and shopping night to tour the new store and it's gorgeous. Unlike most Crate & Barrel's, this store has everything located on one level, which makes for an easy, breezy shopping experience. They were decked out for Christmas and I picked up a few festive items (snowman spatula) and some great hand woven placemats for my kitchen. I could have spent hours in there in the kitchen section alone—so many fabulous things! Of course, Crate & Barrel is known for their amazing registry and you will certainly have no shortage of things to choose from to create your wish list. Your challenge will be narrowing that list down to a manageable size! Just a heads up in case you are heading to check out the store this weekend, a portion of all sales up to and including October 31 will be donated to the Credit Valley Hospital Foundation.
