Country never looked so good!

  |  By Amber Richman
Country never looked so good!

Great long time friends of ours recently got married in the beautiful country setting of Price Edward County. They were married right beside the water under a quaint trellis, with the reception in a big beautiful red barn.

If was perfect that Melanie (a.k.a. the bride) chose mason jars as the vases, holding an elaborate, yet just like picked out of the garden mix. It even amazed me about how many stems I was able to fit into one mason jar! When you are creating this carefree look, it is imperative to use a large range of flowers. Then you naturally get a garden feel, without trying.

If you want to replicate this casual look, the large mason jars had: white daisies, bupleurum, white limonium, soft pink wax flower, white hydrangea, allium, and star of bethlehem. The milk bottle jars had white lisianthus, white freesia, and a touch of bupleurum. The low mason jars simply had a single dahlia on the lip of the vessel.

Country never looked so good!

The wedding party bouquets were very similar to the centrepiece mixture of flowers, except for the addition of the brides favorite bloom: sunflowers.

It was a beautifully executed wedding, that was nice to look at and a whole lot of fun to attend! Thanks Graham & Mel. :)
