Charming DIY Wedding Favours

  |   By Mackenzie Patterson

Mixed CD - DIY Favours

When it comes to wedding favours to thank your guests, the last thing you want to do is pay for commemorative key chains or engraved picture frames, which will end up collecting dust at your friends’ homes! DIY favours are often even more special and personal than store-bought favours, and they can also make a fun project for you and your bridesmaids!

Make something your guests will be able to put to good use at your wedding, like a bubble kit, which they can use to send you and your groom off at the end of the reception instead of rice or confetti. Or, make a heart-shaped ornament covered with birdseed for an eco-friendly favour your guests can place in their backyards.

Edible treats are always a hit amongst guests of all ages, and they won’t go to waste or create clutter in their homes. Put your love of baking to good use and gift your guests with homemade cookies or a cupcake in a jar for one last scrumptious delight after the festivities are over. Make favours that complement your theme, like popcorn in vintage bags for an old Hollywood theme, or hot chocolate in Mason jars for a winter theme. Check out the gallery below for some more adorable ideas for DIY favours.
