Yesterday I had the oddest conversation with a florist. She had mentioned that, and I quote, "I would NEVER put a carnation in a wedding bouquet." Immediately taken back, I thought to myself, hmm, now what's wrong with carnations? Sure they've gotten a bad rap over the last few years and they're not exactly my fave flower either, but I didn't think they were THAT horrendous and NEVER is such a strong word. Well, hoping to prove her wrong, I made it my mission (I love challenges like these!) to find beautiful arrangements and inspiration filled with nothing but CARNATIONS! And, just as I imagined, I found some really amazing ideas. If you're not a huge carnation fan, maybe these three finds will sway you over–and hopefully it will sway our little florist friend over too. Enjoy!
See?! Purple carnations paired with greenery is so elegant.
