This year it’s hard to go anywhere without hearing about recession, recession, recession. I do admit, it’s difficult to think about at times, but when it comes to your wedding celebration, I really do believe you can throw a lovely party without sacrificing style.
While I was online at chapters.ca (yes, spending my newly acquired gift cards!), I typed in wedding in the search engine to see what new bridal books were up and coming. I quickly scanned the top page and thought I’d add 101 Ways to Save Money on Your Wedding by Barbara Cameron–releasing January 17, 2009–to my wish list. According to the summary, author Barbara Cameron offers creative ways to budget for destination weddings, save money on catering and still have a delicious reception dinner, and she also gives tips on how newlyweds can afford an unforgettable honeymoon. I’ve read Barbara’s previous book Everything Weddings on a Budget: Create the Wedding of Your Dreams and Have Money Left for the Honeymoon and it was a great read. She offered expert advice on how to stay within your wedding budget and had great wedding organizers. With that being said, I’m sure her next book won’t disappoint!
