Bench Mark

Bench Mark

This weekend I was jam-packed with two wonderful weddings, one on the more intimate scale, and one on the larger end. Both were incredible, and left me dead on my feet, hence my late post for today. Anywho, those two weddings (which were on the same day!), yes I pulled a 27 Dresses moment, left me with many experiences and great ideas, which I'll be sharing with throughout this week. Cathy and Jon's wedding–my second affair of the evening–was the bigger celebration. I believe they had almost 200 guests in attendance. Although I was a tad late (okay I missed the main course), I caught them just in time for dessert. Aside from the delicious goodies, my fave detail came from their wedding name card holders.

Bench Mark

When I sat down I was so happy to see my name on a bench next to my beau's name, which was on the light post! Rather than leaving the light posts and benches separate, Cathy and Jon decided to pair them up. Although personally, I thought that the bench was clearly the better of the two, while my significant other argued that it was the light post that made the picture. After some harmless bantering, in the end, we concluded that Cathy and Jon definitely made the perfect decision to keep them together. To add to this bench theme, Cathy and Jon also had a makeshift bench which was the exact replica of the place card, so guests could sit and take pictures. Such a great idea and a definite hit with guests throughout the night. Thanks Cathy and Jon for allowing me to share your awesome idea with our brides! If you're looking for these exact place card holders, they can be purchased through Joyful Bride Online and come in sets of four.
