A Beautiful Space In Toronto For Bridal Showers And Registries

Luxury tableware and giftware retailer William Ashley recently opened their flagship store at the historic Colonnade in Toronto's Yorkville neighbourhood, and it's bigger and better than ever before. The new location features two storeys filled with shelves on shelves of coveted brands, but it also includes a lounge space where customers can linger over coffee and tea, as well as nibble on chocolates flown in weekly from Zurich.

According to Jackie Chiesa, president of William Ashley, creating a space not only for perusing fine china and tableware but also for guests to enjoy tea and treats came naturally. "We wanted to allow customers to use the product in its context," Chiesa says. "What better way than to have tea and coffee using the china pattern that was gifted to the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge for their wedding in 2011?!"

With a capacity of 20, the lounge is the perfect spot for a bridal shower high tea. Brides can also head to the store to put together their registry, with the help of the knowledgeable William Ashley consultants. Did we mention you can also snag tableware gifted to the royal family, including the design gifted to soon-to-be newlyweds Prince Harry and Meghan Markle?!
