Colouring books for adults are a playful trend we love. We asked illustrator and designer Pamela Sand, owner of Pam & Paper, to have some fun incorporating this idea into wedding planning. As a result, she crafted these gorgeous save-the-date templates inspired by popular wedding locations.
"The idea of colouring book save-the-dates is so 'now,' part of a growing trend that lets adults dip into their childhood days of staying between the lines (or not). Even my 85-year-old grandmother has been filling up an adult colouring book of her own," says Sand. "As a designer, colour is my jam. Being asked to leave it out challenged how I draw and also how I visualize a project. For this project, I chose destinations with landscapes and traditions that boast an array of colours. I now find myself intrigued by the unknown – who knows how people will choose to colour my designs. I’m excited by the multitude of ways these save-the-dates could be interpreted and coloured by the guests who receive them. With this stationery, you’re asking your guests to take ownership, give it life, and create something."
From Toronto and Lake Louise to Costa Rica and Las Vegas, here are eight free downloadable colouring cards your guests will want to save–and not just for the date!
