A Romantic Lavender Field Picnic Wedding Styled Shoot
This dreamy wedding editorial took place at La Maison Lavande near Montreal and is the perfect inspiration for an intimate outdoor summer wedding with a touch of whimsy. The photoshoot was planned by Wedding Planner, Lulucoeurdebeurre, who’s inspiration was taken from the Beaux-Arts style of paintings. With a carefully curated team of Montreal wedding vendors, she created this romantic dream during Quebec’s peak lavender season.
The picnic set-up was decorated with natural, hand-dyed fabrics, soft cushions and embellished with gorgeous floral arrangements of locally-grown flowers. No fancy picnic would be complete without lemonade, especially lavender-infused!
Pastel-hued sweets added to the lavender theme. A pistachio and rose-water cake decorated with dried lavender was paired with vanilla cupcakes crowned with mini macaroons and homemade lavender candies. Creamy lavender puddings topped with pansies partnered well with the hand-made lollipops incorporating edible flowers.
The bridal gown by Willowby by Watters was accentuated at the waist with a delicate velvet ribbon, perfectly matched to the iridescent velvet of the bridesmaid's “Infinity”dress, an exclusive design from Dream-It-Yourself, a bridal boutique in Old Montreal.
A picture-perfect bridal picnic held in the most incredible setting…with rows of lavender blooms as far as the eye can see!
