#928: Switching your Facebook status from in a relationship to "engaged"

Like I've mentioned in previous posts, the amount of engagement announcements that I've seen from my Facebook has skyrocketed–and this was strictly from Facebook status changes alone. I'm pretty sure if you put it out there, that must mean you'd love the world to know about it–and there's absolutely nothing wrong with that. I think it's pretty awesome when you see how many comments (or likes) you get once you've changed it. It's especially surprising–yet admit it, you get a thrilling and exciting feeling–to get congratulated from those you haven't talked to in ages.
