This idea sort of goes hand in hand with menu tasting–but is slightly different in a way. I just read about a bride and groom who's main focus was to pair different wines with their various meals, which I think is awesome. The couple mentioned that they were huge foodies and that it was a big deal for them, and in the end it worked out as they mentioned that guests couldn't stop talking about how great the food and wine were. It definitely enhances/complements the meal your serving and can be exciting when you go in for a sampling and have a variety of wines placed before your eyes!
