Israeli designer Yaniv Persy’s Spring 2020 Couture collection certainly delivers on drama, and combines the carefree elegance and sophistication of the modern bride. His latest presentation, titled “Le Jardin Secret”, incorporates couture elements like hand beading and beautifully detailed floral appliqués that shine in this latest collection. Soft, romantic silhouettes inspired by a secret garden define this season’s gowns, and are found in the full tulle skirts and draping floor-length capes of Persy’s sheath dresses and ball gowns.
A light and airy touch is seen throughout the collection that gives an ethereal yet contemporary feel that’s ideal for the non-traditional bride. Low backs and plunging necklines add a sensual look while whimsical details like oversized bows and florals keep the collection from feeling too formal. There’s also plenty of sparkle, with delicate beaded bodices and sequinned skirts that reflect the light for a shimmering effect (without the glitter).
