Based on the rapid rate at which Kate Middleton's blue Issa dress (which she wore to announce her engagement) flew off store shelves, I would say this sapphire shade is a surefire crowd-pleaser!

Though I'm certain Kate's bridesmaids will have their dresses custom-made (by the same designer who designs Kate's wedding gown, perhaps?), this dress from the Dessy Collection definitely meets our criteria for a royal wedding. It's modest (high neckline) and chic (clean lines)—what more could a modern bridesmaid ask for?
