Wedding Hair: Timeless Updo Ideas

Wondering what style of wedding hair to wear on your day? Finding your perfect wedding hair can be tough but our current favourites are hairstyles we’ve been seeing on famous ladies over the past year. The good news is that a wedding updo has never been so simpler and easier to wear.

A few weeks back we shot an epic fashion story in beautiful Whistler, British Columbia for our Spring & Summer 2013 issue. The gowns were glorious and so was the wedding hair created by beauty maestro David Goveia from Toronto’s Judy Inc. With 20 looks to create for the shoot, there was ample opportunity to mix up the styles and though we did shoot a few long, loose and wavy ‘dos, the majority of looks David created were gorgeous wedding updos including a high ponytail, side chignon, top knot and demi-chignon. Though you’ll have to wait until the Spring & Summer 2013 issue hits newsstands this December to see our shoot (and gorgeous wedding updo ideas within) we can certainly give you a preview of the wedding hair looks we created via some of Hollywood's best-tressed celebs.
