Viktor & Rolf Debut Bridal Collection
When we heard the Dutch-design duo Viktor Horsting and Rolf Snoeren were creating a capsule collection of wedding dresses we knew it would be amazing and modern and they have more than delivered! According to Vogue, the Viktor & Rolf Marriage capsule wedding dress line is part of their pre-spring/summer 2014 collection.
While the avant-garde designers have created wedding dresses before (strictly bespoke creations and one extra-memorable gown for their collaboration a few years back with H&M) this is their first official wedding dress collection. The range is definitely aimed at serious fashionista brides and includes six incredible styles, encompassing everything from a ruffled mini-dress to a stretch crepe jumpsuit.
“We have always loved designing bridalwear because a wedding dress is a garment with a lot of meaning and emotions,” the designers told British Vogue. “The wedding dress is the ultimate clothing icon.”
Though the style of the dresses may buck tradition, Viktor & Rolf have kept fabrics in a classic bridal palette of white and cream. See all of the wedding gowns in the six-piece collection below.
