Treat Your Girls

  |   By Alison McGill

All women love salon pampering and fussing and I can’t think of a better way to bond with your wedding party than having a girls night (or afternoon) out at a great beauty spot in your area. I was invited to experience such a decadent afternoon and bring five of my friends along to also indulge, so I invited the Weddingbells girls out with me to Toronto’s Tony Chaar Salon for a few hours of utter beauty bliss—look how gorgeous and relaxed we are in this picture! As you can see we had a wonderful afternoon. Tony and his staff rolled out the red carpet for us with everyone treated to manis, brow grooming, lash extensions, luxe hair treatments and goody bags by Schwarzkopf and a blowout. There was a mini-candy bar of treats greeting us in the reception area (complete with takeaway boxes that Stephanie loaded with Swedish berries!), as well as catered treats circulated throughout the afternoon which included yummy cheesecake lollies and mini key lime pies. At the risk of sounding cliché, we felt like a million bucks when we left and we were only there for two and a half hours. Tony let me know this type of girls day out package is something he offers regularly and is happy to arrange for his clients. I know there are tons of other salons and spas across Canada that do the same, and the cost for such an outing is reasonable. Do a little research in your area to find a great beauty spot like Tony Chaar Salon to take your ladies. From my Weddingbells team and I, a huge thanks to Tony Chaar and his wonderful associates; Ivana from Langton Communcations; and the lovely ladies at Schwarzkopf for giving us the best Monday afternoon we’ve had in ages.
