My Beauty Crew has quickly become a fave of Toronto’s fashionable faces boasting a client roaster of celebs including Tessa Virtue and Coco Rocha. Founder Anne Zimmermann—a makeup artist with more than 15 years industry experience, working on celebrities, models, TV personalities—handpicked a team of incredible hair and makeup artists to work with her at My Beauty Crew. Her goal was to offer clients a simple way to book a full glam squad.

This on-demand service, which you can schedule to show up at your home, hotel room, or wherever is most convenient, offers a full range of services including hair, makeup and bridal (prices start at $60 for blowouts to $125 for bridal hair and $150 for bridal makeup), and offers an easy to use app for bookings. “My goal was to make the experience as easy as possible,” Zimmermann says. “A bride picks the date and time when everyone needs to be ready and we take care of all the details. With weddings, we encourage booking three to six months in advance, but we can usually accommodate clients who book within a few weeks of their day.”

Zimmermann recommends clients also book hair and makeup trials in advance of their wedding days. “I think it’s super important for the bride and her artists to try different hair and makeup looks to find the one that suits her best and it will also cut the stress on the day. We are so grateful to be a part of such a special day in a person’s life and we love being in the heart of the action to make a bride and her ladies feel beautiful!”
