Theia debuted its Fall 2020 collection at Bridal Fashion Week on Thursday. The collection was inspired by two women: Mexican artist Frida Kahlo, and Julie Helen, a former Theia bride bravely battling Cerebral Palsy. According to the brand's creative director, this collection is meant to help every bride embrace their uniqueness and feel comfortable in their own skin.
Theia is most well known for signature crepe dresses with simple and clean silhouettes. The Fall 2020 collection brings a range of intricate new designs for the modern bride, including plunging necklines with pearls and voluminous ruffles. Gowns are embellished with jewelled straps, lace appliques, laser-cut floral petals, micro-sequins and guipure trims. The collection also plays with a variety of fabrics including parachute taffeta, silk organza and tulle.
