Theia Fall 2018 Wedding Dresses

Named for the Greek goddess of light, Theia’s ethereal feel is the label’s signature. This season’s designs stay true to the spirit of romantic whimsy, while also tiptoeing in a sexier direction. Illusion necklines traced with lace plunge to the navel, and full-beaded fabrics are shaped into figure-hugging silhouettes. Of note are a draped satin jumpsuit with batwing sleeves, and an art-deco inspired gown criss-crossed with lines of glinting glass and crystal beads. 3D florals find their way onto several dress, adding a textural touch. Somehow even Theia’s most elaborate gowns feel fuss free, thanks to the use of soft fabrics such as Spanish tulle and delicate Chantilly lace.

Targeted to “free spirited” women, Theia describes its design objective as “to bring out every woman’s inner goddess.” Proof of that claim: This season, the brand launches a plus size capsule collection, which will be available exclusively through U.S. retailer Lovely Bride. Here’s hoping the capsule is integrated into the full collection for future seasons.
