Inspired by the foggy haze of a 1920's opium den, Don O'Neill's most recent collection for Theia is a definite departure from the brand's usual aesthetic. In place of the flowing, goddess-inspired creations and modern sheath dresses Theia has become know for were a selection of dresses that clearly referenced the glamour and seduction of Shanghai in its heyday. Opulent silks as well as sequin and and tassle adornments were showcased throughout the collection alongside several show-stopping gowns in shades of red, the most auspicious colour in Chinese culture.
