Swarovski's Style Suite

Toronto's film fest (which officially opened last night) is now in full swing, and one of the most entertaining things to do at this time of year—besides seeing one of the featured films, obviously!—is visiting one of the many celebrity gift lounges around town. This morning I was invited to check out Swarovski's suite at the Four Seasons where stylists and starlets drop in to borrow jewellery and accessories for all the festival's red-carpet events. The company's Public Relations Manager Pierrick Marcoux, who flew in from Paris for the week, kindly gave me the grand tour, and there was certainly lots to see. This year all the big starlets will receive crystal and leather clutches with personalized name plates on the inside (pictured left). These handbags are limited edition and there are only 80 in the entire world! Another highlight was Karl Lagerfeld's stylish collection for Swarovski, and I loved seeing crystal handbags in every colour of the rainbow (according to Marcoux, you have to offer a bag for every ensemble).
