Mercedes Benz Spring 2011 Fashion Week is upon us, with the New York shows marking the kick off to a new style season. Spring is shaping up to be an eclectic and gorgeous one. We are already working on our spring 2011 issue and one trend we were on before it hit the New York runways was pink makeup, specifically bright pink lips which were in full effect at the DVF show on Sunday.

Spring Beauty Trend: Pink

My pick for the lippy of the season—Tom Ford Private Blend Lipstick in Pure Pink. Ford's luxe and luscious lipsticks introduced earlier this year are pricey ($55 at Holt Renfrew), but are beautifully packaged and simply glide across lips. This pink is bright, bold, but not overpowering and works with almost every skin tone and hair colour. Worth the investment and would look FABULOUS with your white wedding dress.
