Spring Beauty Lesson

Loving the new blush colours and tinted lip balms (these are so fab you really need to have one in every purse you own, including your wedding clutch). With my press release info about Joe Fresh Beauty’s spring collection came some tips on creating pretty spring looks courtesy of Simone Otis, makeup guru and Joe Fresh Beauty consultant. My fave look was Simone’s “Heathy Glow,” a romantic look focused on pretty pink/peach tones. This look is a breeze to create, perfect for spring parties and would look amazing for a tropical destination celebration (you may be planning to do your own makeup on location). Here’s how to get the look:

• Apply Eye Crayon in Nude to the entire eyelid up until the crease. • Curl your lashes and apply a coat of Clear or Brown Mascara. • Apply Cheek Tint in Pink, Peach or Berry to the cheeks. • Dust your cheeks lightly with a little Pressed Powder to set. • Add a swirl of powder Blush in Bloom to the apples of your cheeks. • Add a little highlight and shine by applying the Cheek Tint in Nude to the brow bones and upper cheeks. • Dab on a light lip shade such as Tinted Lip Balm in Honey or Lip Gloss in Nude.
