These Simon Carter cufflinks are right on the money!

Last week I had the pleasure of meeting London-based designer Simon Carter, otherwise known as the "King of Cufflinks." Carter was in Toronto (the site of his first North American store!) to show off his latest collection of men's apparel, ties and cufflinks, of course.

He also treated members of the media to a sneak peek at his brand-new West End line of suits (in store some time this month), which boasts a slightly younger, sleeker silhouette—perfect for the modern, or rather, mod groom! In other exciting news, Carter is also planning to roll out a line of women's jewellery in the near future., and I personally can't wait to see how his quirky aesthetic translates—it's about time the ladies got in on the action! But back to the gents for a moment, it seems that cufflinks are hotter than ever these days, and it's easy to figure out why. There's a certain old-fashioned charm to them, and they're a great way for a guy to personalize his look. I suggest this Pound and Dollar pair for the jet-setting groom. You tell me: what are you getting your mister as a wedding-day gift? What about some cufflinks?
