This season, it’s all about wearing your hair short and sexy (think Rihanna, Elisha Cuthbert and supermodel It Girl Agyness Deyn) and if you think for a moment you need to grow it out for your W-day, stop yourself! To be a thoroughly modern bride, a great haircut is your best wedding accessory. Now, we’ve always been fans of the short cut around the WB office. Jenn and I only recently grew out our pixie cuts to short, bobby ’dos, while Roseanne just chopped eight inches to restyle herself with a sassy “Pob” (a.k.a. the Posh Bob). We love short hair so much we put it on our latest cover, and apparently we have some fans out there that love our vision, too. This letter from Vanessa Ogilvy in Edmonton recently landed in my inbox.

“Thank you! I have short hair and ever since I became engaged nearly a year ago, I've been searching for wedding hairstyles for really short hair. I love my short hair—it's me. I also have enough stress with all the wedding planning; I don't need the hassle of spending a year trying to grow out my hair.
