Monte’s interest in fashion sparked at a young age and he ignited this interest by furthering his education in fashion merchandising and hair styling. He began his career as a personal shopper, quickly learning that women not only need help accessorizing, but also styling their hair. Thankfully, Monte transitioned into the bridal industry to help the many frantic brides to find the perfect wedding dress. Monte's shift into the bridal image consultant role garnered him much recognition across North America. He has appeared in The Washington Post, The New York Times, InStyle and more. He has also been a guest on CNN and FOX offering his style, beauty, and wedding dress advice.
Picking a wedding dress can be stressful, especially picking one that suits your body type and one that you feel comfortable in. Then, there’s the added stress of accessorizing! Some advice from Monte: you can’t go wrong with a tight ballet bun paired with pearls, whether the bun is at the nape of the neck or on the side -- it’s a chic look. Monte also told us to avoid accessories that everyone will notice like a red bridal sash on a white bridal gown–blending is a huge part of looking understated and elegant, according to the bridal fashion guru. For fall and winter brides who require a cover-up to combat the cold, Monte suggests a fur wrap or a cashmere shawl.
