For her Spring/Summer 2021 Aurora collection (named after the goddess of the dawn) designer Savannah Miller stayed true to her ethereal, luxe-boho stylings showcasing a feminine, breezy and romantic lineup of gowns. Miller shares her fashion inspiration was the iconic wardrobe of 1930’s Hollywood movie star Carole Lombard; the actress was famed for her graceful and elegant style.
“She embodied the feminine and sensual essence of our brand’s design aesthetic and is a constant inspirational reference for me with her playful yet powerful magnetism” Miller says. “This season’s collection builds on our signature bias cut gowns, effortless silhouettes and includes a combination of multiple different fabrics which when combined create innovative textures.” Chiffon layers and Chantilly lace feature throughout the collection and Miller has shown a variety of embellishments, hem lengths and dramatic design elements—we love her use of statement sleeves and capes!
