Designer Romona Keveza has a talent for creating elegant, showstopping gowns that command attention, and her Spring 2019 signature bridal Romona Keveza Collection is no exception. Taking international destinations as inspiration, the collection is a cosmopolitan journey through distinctive locales and aspirational venues, making stops in the United Kingdom, Italy, France, Japan, and of course, New York City (Keveza's homebase.)
Each gown is given its own distinct point of view based on its venue muse. A trio of royal sites in the U.K. — Windsor Castle, Buckingham Palace and Balmoral Castle — are represented by demure gowns in clean white five-ply silk crepe with long sleeves and streamlined silhouettes. Delicate lace dresses hail from Villa d’Este and Chantilly Palace, white glossy embroidered satin ballgowns are a nod to the opulence of La Scala and and Versailles. A plunging V-neck halter dress with a sweeping train pays homage to the Rockefeller’s metropolitan address. And finally, intricate floral appliqué blooms from an airy strapless organza gown and and softly fluted number, odes to Japan’s cherry blossom-filled Sakura Gardens and France’s iconic Jardin des Tuileries, respectively.
