Romantique By Claire Pettibone Spring 2017 Wedding Dresses

  |   By Mackenzie Patterson

California Dreaming, Claire Pettibone’s Spring 2017 Romantique bridal collection, was inspired by the diverse, eclectic culture of the golden state. Having grown up in Los Angeles, the designer’s unique style was shaped by the multicultural vibe of the city, as well as the coast’s beachy, laid-back feel. With California’s one-of-a-kind lifestyle in mind, she set to work creating a bridal collection infused with Spanish influences, boho details and beachy accents to honour her home state.

Embellished necklines, backs and sleeves are a nod to LA’s rich Latina culture, while scalloped lace and embroidery speaks to the glamorous celebrity population the city is known for. As part of Pettibone’s more affordable, free-spirited bridal collection, the gowns were created for a different type of bride. Shorter, leg-bearing frocks will catch the eye of destination brides, while the intricate crochet sheaths will wow the bohemian with a gypsy soul.

Look out for highlights like the Laguna, a jaw-dropping patterned crochet gown, and the Pasadena, a glam, long-sleeved dress with gorgeous lace details.
