Repair and Volumize Your Hair

I don't know about you, but I'm all for getting more volume in my hair. Since my early teens I've tried just about everything from mousse to volumizing serums and gels, since I have somewhat fine hair that doesn't like to hold shape. Nowadays I keep it pretty simple. More products can often weigh your locks down. Pre-blow dry I LOVE Kevin Murphy's Anti Gravity that Alison introduced me to. I even got compliments the first day I tried it (you know you have a keeper when people notice the size of your hair). Up until recently, that's all I've really done (unless I'm attempting to curl), but have discovered something I think really works and is perfect for a bride looking to repair and volumize her hair.

Ojon, a natural beauty company that creates hair and skin products, uses Ojon oil in all of its products. The oil comes from a unique tree in the rainforest of Central America and has been used for centuries by the Mosquito Indian tribe of the region, who are known in their language as "Tawira" which translates to "the people of beautiful hair." The story is pretty amazing, as well as the Ojon oil which was discovered. (What's also amazing is that the company uses portion of the profits to protect the people and the rainforest. They also don't over harvest the crops, keep the tradition of extracting by hand and also consult the Tawira people on the business aspect of the brand.)

One of their most well-known products is the Restorative Hair Treatment, which is an excellent treatment for dry and damaged hair, and a favourite of beauty editors. Most recently Ojon has developed a Volumizing 2-Minute Hair Mask, which can be used in the shower. Two minutes? In the shower? I was sold! I got the opportunity to try, not really sure it would volumize my hair, since hydrating and volumizing didn't seem to go hand-in-hand in my mind. Post shower (without anything else in it), my hair felt light, soft and fuller. I love that it doesn't take much time and the results are fantastic. Combined with Anti Gravity, I've got myself a good hair day!
