Rent A Dress? Yes Please!

I first heard about this online boutique shop through Nicole awhile back. Designer dresses, CUTE designer dresses for a reasonable price? Yes please! Instantly piquing my interest, I logged on to check it out on Monday May 23rd, when it first launched (almost a week ago today). The result? A gorgeous haven filled with rentable frocks from the likes of David Dixon, Badgley Mishcka and Pink Tartan to name a few. This summer alone, I've got nearly five wedding celebrations and, not wanting to wear the same dress over and over again, I decided to give Rent Frock Repeat a try. To my amazement I found myself drawn to more than one style (like I said, there's plenty to pick from), but in the end I chose this lovely David Dixon sequin strapless dress with flower detail for a truly reasonable $75. The process is easy-peasy: pick your gown, choose your size, enter the dates you need the dress for (you have the option for a 4-day rental or a week-long rental) and voila it's delivered straight to your doorsteps! Oh, and the best part? They let you choose two sizes (with the second size being a freebie), you know, just in case. A few minutes after I placed my order, I received a surprising yet charming thank-you call from Canadian owners of Rent Frock Repeat, Lisa Delorme and Kristy Wieber! They were super-lovely and thrilled, you see, I had the exciting privilege of being their very first customer. To everyone skeptical about renting a dress, don't knock it 'til you've tried it, it's certainly a great way and option for those of you looking to play Cinderella in a beautiful one-of-a-kind gown–even for a day or so!
