Reem Acra Fall 2016 Wedding Dresses
Always one to push the envelope, Reem Acra definitely did not disappoint this season – however it was her whimsical bridal accessories that had everyone talking. For her Fall 2016 show, Acra paid homage to tech-savvy millennial brides by sending impeccably-dressed models down the runway decked out in bedazzled headphones with flower-adorned selfie sticks replacing traditional bouquets. Her gowns were rather traditional by comparison, featuring ultra-feminine lace details and embellishments in the form of beading and embroidery. Acra also played with transparency for Fall 2016 – peek-a-boo skirts and midriff-baring cropped tops gave way to gowns with seductive sheer bodices.
