Reem Acra Fall 2014 Wedding Dresses

Last season, Reem Acra wowed with whimsical parasols and veils adorned with romantic phrases like "Only You" and "Just Married"---this time around, the dresses did all the talking. There were a couple of grand ballgowns in the mix, but for the most part Acra embraced sleek silhouettes for fall. Not surprisingly, many of the dresses in this aptly named "Going Global" collection are tailor-made for destination weddings in places as diverse as Mexico or Tuscany. As always, Acra's attention to detail is exquisite---she does intricate embroidery like nobody else. Naturally, no Acra show would be complete without some show-stopping accessories, and that's where the feathers came in. Fabulous feather headdresses, veils and capes took svelte lace sheath dresses to a whole other level, one of pure fashion fantasy!
