Polishing Up

  |   By Alison McGill

Ask anyone in the office, and they’ll tell you I am a nail-polish aficionado. There has not been a day since grade seven that I’ve left the house with bare nails—manicured fingers and toes are mandatory. My WB girls often joke that they are afraid to come into the office if they’re not perfectly polished.

Polishing Up

Last month, I picked up a polish in a shade I haven’t worn for a few years, but I am back in love with it. I’ve noticed every time I wear it, I get a compliment! The colour in question is OPI’s Blushingham Palace ($13, at professional salons and spas), part of the company’s Classic Collection, that’s a warm mauve-pink hue with a pretty pearlized finish. It’s an ideal choice for every day, but I think it’s particularly fitting for your wedding day because it delivers the perfect pop of colour to your nails—not too soft and not too bright. This one gets my vote for polish of the summer!
