Vera Wang Spring 2013

Vera Wang's gothic black and nude gowns were the talk of bridal fashion week during the Fall 2012 shows and the designer continued to push the envelope with her Spring 2013 offering. Once again there wasn't a white gown in sight. Instead, we saw frothy skirts and form-fitting bodices in every shade of red imaginable from bold vermilion red to deep burgundy -- a true homage to the colour of love. And it wasn't just colour that set these gowns apart: Wang's playful embellishments, sumptuous ruffles and shimmering embroidered accents made the Spring 2013 collection utterly swoon-worthy.
